Something not working? Write to us.
SucreSage is made by a small team, and a person reads every message: hello@sucresage.app. We aim to reply within two working days.
The quick answers
I can't get into my account
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and we'll email you a link to set a new one. The link works once and expires after an hour. If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then write to us.
I want to delete my account
Profile → Delete account. That removes the account and everything logged under it, immediately and permanently. Nobody needs to approve it and you don't have to ask us. No longer have the app? See deleting your account.
A food's added sugar looks wrong
Most packaged foods come from the USDA's database. Where a label doesn't state added sugar, SucreSage works it out from the ingredients and the total sugar and marks it as an estimate — and where it can't tell, it says "not known" rather than guessing. You can always type the right number yourself before logging, and we'd like to hear about any that are badly off.
The photo scan got it wrong
It's an estimate from a picture, and it says so. Correct the name and the number before you tap Log it — nothing is saved until you do.
Managing Premium
Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. On an iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: the Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling there stops future charges and leaves your account and your history intact.
Turning reminders off
Profile → Daily reminder → Off. Every reminder email also has a one-tap link at the bottom that switches them off without signing in.
My watch face shows an old number
Occasionally, just after SucreSage updates, a watch face keeps showing yesterday's figure, or an empty ring, while the SucreSage app on the watch is up to date. The watch is holding on to the previous version. Restart your Apple Watch: hold the side button, turn it off, then on again. The face catches up straight away.
Telling us something
Bugs, foods we've got wrong, wording that grates, or a feature you wish existed — all of it is welcome at hello@sucresage.app. If you're reporting something broken, the screen you were on and what you expected to happen is usually enough for us to find it.
